Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Pushkar Kumar, a sole proprietor trading as Bas File Kar Do, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, who operates Bas File Kar Do at basfilekardo.com ("we", "us"). By creating an account, uploading documents or paying, you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.
1. What we do
We turn the evidence you upload (bills, payment proof, emails, chats, photos) into a consumer complaint bundle for filing on e-Jagriti before a District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. The bundle can include the complaint, affidavit, synopsis, list of dates, index, page-numbered and labelled annexures, separate upload files, and a filing guide.
2. What we don't do
- We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice. We don't advise whether you should file, whether your case is strong, or what you will get. For complicated matters, speak to an advocate.
- We don't file the complaint for you, appear before the Commission, or deal with the opposite party on your behalf.
- We don't guarantee that the Commission will admit your complaint or decide it in your favour.
3. Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older. A complaint for a minor must be prepared by a parent or guardian.
- The case must be for a District Commission in India, where the amount you paid (the consideration) is up to ₹50 lakh. We don't prepare cases above ₹50 lakh, or for State or National Commissions.
- You must be the complainant or authorised by them.
4. Your responsibilities
- Truthful information. Everything you tell us and upload must be true and genuine. Filing false statements in an affidavit is an offence, and the responsibility is yours.
- Check before you sign. Read the whole bundle and confirm every fact, date and amount before signing, getting the affidavit notarised and filing. Tell us about any error and we'll fix it.
- Time limits. A consumer complaint normally has to be filed within two years of the problem. We flag cases that look late, but meeting the deadline is your responsibility. A late filing may need a separate application for condonation of delay.
- Filing. You register on e-Jagriti, pay any Commission fee, upload the files and attend hearings yourself.
- Lawful use. Don't upload documents you have no right to use, forged or altered evidence, or anything unlawful. Don't use the service to harass anyone.
5. Prices and payment
The price depends on the amount you paid for the product or service you're complaining about:
| Amount you paid | Launch price | Regular price |
|---|---|---|
| Up to ₹1 lakh | ₹199 | ₹399 |
| ₹1–10 lakh | ₹499 | ₹799 |
| ₹10–50 lakh | ₹999 | ₹1,499 |
Launch prices apply to the first 200 filings. Prices include applicable taxes. You pay before we start preparing your bundle, through Razorpay. The e-Jagriti filing fee, notary charges and any other government or third-party fees are separate and paid by you.
If your documents show you paid more than the band you selected (beyond a 5% margin), we'll pause and ask you to either pay the difference or take a full refund.
6. What's included
- Free edits to names, amounts, dates and documents.
- Up to 3 full redrafts.
- Affidavits for joint complainants.
- If the registry returns your filing with objections to documents we prepared, send us the objection within 90 days of delivery and we'll correct it free of charge.
Not included: rejoinders, evidence affidavits, written arguments, appeals, execution applications, or condonation of delay applications, unless we offer them separately.
7. AI and human checking
An AI service reads your documents and helps draft and check the bundle, and dates and amounts are cross-checked against your documents. During testing, a person checks every bundle. AI can still make mistakes, which is why you must check the final documents before you sign (section 4).
8. Your documents and the bundle
Your documents remain yours. The bundle we prepare for you is yours to use for your complaint and any proceedings that follow. You give us permission to process your documents only to prepare, check and correct your bundle. We delete them on the schedule in the Privacy Policy, so keep your own copy of the bundle.
9. Refusing or stopping work
We may decline or stop preparing a case if it is outside what we cover (section 3), appears to be well past the time limit, depends on documents that look forged or altered, or breaks these terms. If we decline a paid case for any of these reasons, except forged documents or misuse, you get a full refund under the Refund Policy.
10. Limits on our liability
We take care to prepare accurate documents, and we fix our mistakes free. But the outcome of a complaint depends on the facts, the evidence, the law and the Commission, none of which we control. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for that case. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by information you provided, documents you didn't check, missed deadlines, or outages of e-Jagriti or other third-party services.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force when you pay applies to that case. For significant changes, we'll email account holders.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please email us first so we can try to resolve any problem. Subject to your rights as a consumer, courts in Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction.
13. Contact and grievances
Email [email protected]. Grievance officer: Pushkar Kumar. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.
